The farm is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There is a federal style 14 room farmhouse, Dutch born, and a collection of the 19th century farm outbuildings. Within the Park there is fishing with a permit. They are picnic areas, tennis courts, playground and 10 miles of hiking trails, ice skating and sledding on permitted when conditions are deemed safe.
The David C Shaw Arboretum is a 20 acre horticultural display which is a favorite spot for wedding parties to take incredible pictures.
